Kari Samantha (born April 28th, 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. The career of Wuhrer began when she was a teenager. Her most well-known role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders as well as Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble), who works as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). There are three of her siblings. When she was young She sang in nightclubs and slipped out to perform. After studying acting at the Wooster School from the age of 13, she pursued a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Additionally, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the famed Uta Hagen. She was born in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th of April She was raised in the town. Her father is both a German American policeman as well as an auto salesman. Kari has three brothers and sisters. Kari was a nightclub singer when she was in her teens. Her habit was to sneak away from her home to perform. Kari was first introduced to acting in Wooster school at the age of thirteen, and went further to pursue a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari began performing in her teens, with her first television appearance on the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
