Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a family of mixed blood. Her father and mother are both English. Her family was raised on an estate in South London community estate, and when she was 14, attended The Brit School. She studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. During her time at the academy, she performed in several stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she has made guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film came from the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha on The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured in six episodes Trexx and Flipside. She also had the opportunity to play the role as Bambi on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the series two and three. Madekwe was a part of the comedic How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes on The CW, and was later ended. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast to play Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was in the episodes of the series' initial two seasons as the show's regular. In May of 2013, it was announced that news broke that Madekwe will quit the show due to her appearance as a guest on the premiere episode of its third season. In the TV series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by a big family. Her parents were Patty and Roy Leggat. Her parents, Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball in summers and played hockey in winters. Ashley couldn't walk, however she could dance. As a result, at the age of 2 when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley was a competitor in tap, jazz and ballet at the top divisions. The important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the title "top Soloist".
