Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss, were among the Grammy Award winners who were among the youngest. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. Her birth date was July 23, 1971. Alison Maria Krauss began her musical career at a young age and was a winner of local contests by the age of 10. Her first recording was her first time at age fourteen. When she was 14, she signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. She was also invited to the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Then, in 1989 her first solo album was released together with them.
